Advisory Board

Dr. Maung Maung Thein is the former Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Finance and the former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar. He was also the chair of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) working committee.

Dr. Maung Maung Lay is Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Yangon, Myanmar and an elected Central Executive Committee Member. A former BOD member of Greater Mekong Subregion Business Forum (GMS-BF). He also served as a member of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ABAC). Dr. Maung Maung Lay is a medical Doctor by profession and obtained M.B.B.S degree.

Mr. Min Zaw Htoo is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Anandar Capital Management LP. He was previously employed at Seneca Capital Advisors, LLC before joining Magnetar Financial in 2005

A senior partner at McKinsey & Company, Manish focuses on serving healthcare institutions in the private and public sectors in the US, Asia, and the Middle East. From 2010 to 2012, Manish led McKinsey’s Singapore office as managing partner, and served private and public sector clients in Singapore, China, India, Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia within healthcare and beyond. Manish holds a MS (1999) and PhD (2001) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BS in technology (1997) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Thaung Su Nyein is the CEO and Managing Director of Information Matrix Co., Ltd. Formed in 2012 as the result of a merger between Maze Media Co., Ltd., and Myanmar Inforithm Ltd, Information Matrix is now a leader in printed media, publishing, the IT enterprise and the e-government market. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of publications such as 7Day News, 7Day Daily, Myanmar People Magazine and Crossroads. He is the Vice-President of Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA) and a Central Executive Committee Member of the Republic of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries (UMFCCI)
