Aung leads the technology team at ThitsaWorks and is a true architect who can leverage technology to build solutions that address complex challenges in the industry. Aung is an elected member of the Design Authority, a body that provides technical oversight to the Mojaloop community through the Mojaloop Foundation.

Aung has over 13 years of working experience in the IT industries and founded two IT startups in Myanmar and Singapore. He worked as a Software Engineer/Architect in the telecommunication, payment systems, and software development industries. He has a strong experience in software design and architecture, digital transformation, project management, team management, supplier negotiation, software development, and integrating various payment gateways and solutions. He graduated with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon.
