About the Role
Job Description: Quality Assurance Tester
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be the final gatekeeper of quality across ThitsaWorks’ digital financial solutions. You will ensure that our web, mobile, and API-driven platforms are reliable, secure, and production-ready before they ever reach customers. In fintech, “almost works” is not good enough — and your role makes sure we never ship that.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, execute, and continuously improve testing strategies across the entire software development lifecycle. From reviewing requirements and designing test cases to executing functional, performance, security, and automated tests, you will play a hands-on role in protecting product integrity and user trust.
Beyond testing, you will contribute to automation, DevOps integration, and production issue analysis. You will help identify root causes, reproduce issues accurately, and streamline QA processes to support fast, reliable releases. Your work will directly impact system stability, customer confidence, and the scalability of ThitsaWorks’ financial technology platforms.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Review business requirements and technical design documents to create effective test strategies
Design, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Execute various types of testing including functional, security, UAT, stress, load, and regression testing
Test web applications, mobile applications, and API integrations
Validate user interfaces for consistency, usability, and functional accuracy
Record, track, and report test execution progress and results
Develop and maintain automated test scripts (unit tests, regression tests, etc.)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
Provide second-level support by troubleshooting production issues and reproducing bugs for developers
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to align with Scrum timelines and release schedules
Continuously improve and streamline QA processes and methodologies
Stay current with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
Develop and execute SQL queries for backend and database testing
