About the Role
As a Platform Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and platforms that power our applications and services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the availability, performance, and security of our systems while contributing to the continuous evolution of our platform architecture and deployment processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable platform solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure platform security and compliance through best practices and protocols.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises systems.
• Work with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to support microservices architecture.
• Create and maintain documentation of platform architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and recommend innovations to enhance the platform.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Bash, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and system architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data management practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
