As COO of ThitsaWorks, Pyae plays a crucial role in driving the organization’s operational efficiency and growth. Pyae is a medical doctor by training but has been a key player in the Myanmar MFI industry since 2012. In 2012, Pyae co-founded Myanmar Finance Co., Ltd., a Myanmar MFI, and was in charge of its operations. In 2014, Myanmar Finance Co., Ltd. became the first joint-venture MFI and known as Myanmar Finance International Limited (MFIL) and Pyae worked as a COO from 2014 to 2020.

 

Pyae is a former member and joint secretary of the Myanmar Microfinance Association (MMFA) Executive Committee and initiated MMFA’s COO Club. He received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the European Global School University.
