Zin Wai Tun

Zin Wai Tun is a Project Officer at ThitsaWorks, bringing over eight years of experience managing enterprise-scale technology projects across the banking, financial services, and telecommunications sectors. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL V4 practitioner, with a strong background in Agile and Waterfall delivery, demand management, release and change management, and cross-functional coordination.

Zin has led major initiatives such as core banking upgrades, digital payment system implementations, API integrations, and card management system enhancements. His prior roles include managing projects at Capital Diamond Star Group (CDSG), Kanbawza Bank (KBZ), Myanma Apex Bank (MAB), and Myanma Post and Telecommunications (MPT), where he collaborated closely with senior stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver secure and compliant solutions. His experience also includes improving release processes, designing project governance frameworks, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and security standards.

At ThitsaWorks, Zin is responsible for coordinating project activities, supporting planning and task management, tracking progress and risks, facilitating stakeholder communication, leading project meetings and presentations, preparing documentation, and contributing to project quality reviews. Reporting to the Head of PMO, he plays a key role in ensuring smooth project execution and effective collaboration across teams.
