ThitsaWorks Joins Stakeholder Engagement Sessions for Guinea’s Instant and Inclusive Payment System

Conakry, Guinea | May 11–15, 2026

ThitsaWorks participated in the stakeholder engagement sessions for Guinea’s Instant and Inclusive Payment System (IIPS/SPII) held from 11–15 May 2026 in Guinea, alongside Guinéenne de Monétique (GuiM), Mojaloop Foundation, AfricaNenda, the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea (BCRG), and ecosystem stakeholders.

The sessions focused on strengthening stakeholder alignment and ecosystem readiness ahead of the rollout of Guinea’s interoperable instant payments infrastructure built on Mojaloop open-source technology.

Throughout the engagement sessions, discussions covered key areas including:

  • DFSP integration readiness

  • interoperability and ecosystem coordination

  • pricing and adoption considerations

  • Go-To-Market strategy alignment

  • stakeholder engagement and operational readiness

The workshops brought together representatives from financial institutions and ecosystem partners to align understanding around the operational, technical, and strategic components required to support successful implementation and adoption of the system.

As System Integrator, ThitsaWorks continues to support the implementation of a secure, interoperable, and inclusive payments infrastructure designed to strengthen digital financial services and financial inclusion in Guinea.

The engagement sessions also highlighted the importance of strong collaboration across regulators, national infrastructure operators, DFSPs, and ecosystem partners to ensure sustainable adoption and long-term ecosystem growth.

ThitsaWorks appreciates the collaboration and engagement from GuiM, BCRG, DFSPs, and partners throughout the sessions and looks forward to supporting the continued progress of the initiative.
